You know the story about when everyone said they were going to take care of it so everyone thought someone else had done it but no one had done it...well that's what happened to our fishing report. Sorry it's late.
Well, we wrapped up the 2002 season on a high note. Sonny Do along with family and friends enjoyed a nice trip and brought home a respectable catch of stripers. Darryl Spitler had a nice day to spend on the water with friends. The group brought home a near limit catch a stripers and enjoyed calm seas.
Locals, Jody Birmingham, Garrett and Gary Griper, and Tom Junco also had a calm day on the water. The group had a great day and also brought home a near limit catch of stripers.
On our Annual New Years Day trip we enjoyed the company of Mean Gene, Maryanne, Tony, Randy and Amy Goode, and George Krieder. Amy started us out right by catching the first striper of 2003, a beautiful fish too. Great job Amy! The rest of the group were soon to catch up and soon had their limit. A great start to the new year. Oh yeah, Happy New Year Everyone!
Another local group, from IG Burton, enjoyed a snowy but calm day on the water. Bill Siters, Roger Rexrode, Skip Herscher, Dave Ashley, Dave Tucker, and Greg Scott managed to catch their limit of stripers minus one and even found time to throw a few snowballs. Nothing like fishing in a snowstorm. The group stayed nice and warm though, taking advantage of the heated cabin in between drifts.
We would like to say thank you to everyone for making 2002 a great season and look forward to fishing with you in 2003.
Check out our new archive page. It's brand new and has reports back to the beginning of the year.
