Tog fishing remains strong. Drum fishing is holding steady with a few larger fish finally showing up as well as a few nice stripers taken on clams as well. Seabass fishing is now an option for those looking for them and bluefish should be an option by next weekend.

The folks from EDIS Corp joined us for a day of fishing and had a beautiful day harvesting a limit of tog. That same evening we had Andy and Barbara Duncan on board celebrating their 17th anniversary. We quickly caught a limit of tog and headed to the drum grounds and Barbara started things off with the first drum fish we kept for the table. Andy was next and released two nice drum weighing around 40 lbs and 60 lbs.

Paul Brown and friends had a nice morning and harvested a limit of tog and as a bonus Matthew Planer harvested a 30 lb 4 oz striper while we were fishing for drum. Next we had the Metco Fishing Alliance on board for an afternoon trip. While putting up with a passing shower we were able to put a limit catch of tog in the cooler before heading to the drum grounds. Once on the drum grounds we harvested a nice striper and a drum fish to top the night off.

Sika Corporation joined us for a day of fishing and despite the overcast conditions we managed a limit of tog and headed in search of drum. We had a nice one on but lost it in the anchor line as we were unable to get it clear in some pretty sloppy conditions.

We do have an opening this Friday the 19th if anyone is interested.
