The canyons are finally showing signs of life and we hope it's the start of a good thing. James Elliott and friends from DP&L enjoyed a nice night in the Wilmington Canyon. It was the first time offshore for many of these folks so it was a real treat for them to chunk 6 nice yellowfins overnight along with five dolphin for the grill.
Mike Fortino and friends were forced to do a one day trip offshore due to an approaching front and wound up with one dolphin 3 skipjack tuna and several false albacore.
After the passage of the front we returned to the Baltimore Canyon with Daniel Esch and friends. The group had an enjoyable evening chunking up three yellowfin tuna, two blue sharks, and six dolphin. The next trip to the Baltimore with Robert Craft and friends from Albany, Ohio also produced fish overnight. We managed to capture 2 yellowfin tuna and 24 nice dolphin to top the evening off.
