We have definitely seen our fair share of windy weather this October. The double header northeasters kept the fish safe for seven days strait at one point. The northeast winds have pushed the striped bass and slammer bluefish close to the beach. Both are already being caught locally. With any luck they will continue their migration close to the beach and we'll have a great fall striper run. Tog fishing has been consistent with good numbers of fish on every trip despite some less than favorable conditions.

Sorry we have been to lax in the fishing report to mention everyone this time. Many of the trips we have had some good flurries of tog fishing followed by some waiting periods but by the end of every day we certainly have caught some impressive numbers of fish on every given trip. The keeper ratio was better on some days than others. We would like to congratulate Terry Popowski on his 7.82lb tog that is currently third place in the Lewes Harbour tog tournament.

Looking forward to some more good tog fishing which should run through mid January. We are also looking to get in on some of the good striper fishing which should also run through mid January.
