Right on time for our fall tog season, tuna fishing is finally in full swing. We do have two dates available for anyone who would still like a crack at tuna this week. Tog fishing is off to a poky start as Joe Franciosa and folks from BCS chemical found out this week. Chuck Dietz and friends also found tog fishing still a little on the slow side but were surprised by a number of blowfish, even catching a double header on tog baits. Sunday Tim Brinkley and friends had a nice mixed bag of fish. The group harvested 15 tog, 15 triggerfish, 4 seabass, 24 croakers, and an11 lb 12 oz sheepshead for Casey McElwee.

Monday night found us back offshore with Abner Stoltzfus and friends who found seventeen 50-70lb yellowfin in the Baltimore canyon. Wednesday night on our way offshore we made a stop inshore for some bluefin action before heading off to the Baltimore canyon with John Goldembiewski and friends. The group harvested four large bluefin between 110 lbs and 161 lbs and released a fifth before dark. Overnight in the canyon produced a 152 lb mako and 5 nice yellowfin and a release on another mako despite our late start on the edge.
