We will continue tog and striper fishing through Christmas at this point. When mother nature has given us a break we have experienced some fine fishing. The warm weather has kept some of the stripers still way north of the area but what we are catching is big. This cold front moving through tonight will hopefully push some more fish down from the north.

Wegner foods joined us for a day of entertaining some clients on the water. It was a little on the breezy side to start the day but ended up really nice. The other nice part of the day was the bag of tog fillets they got to take home for dinner. Hilton Stanley and friends had a good catch of tog. Bill led the charge catching his daily limit of tog. John Koster and the guys from the hunting camp joined us for the annual trip to finish out the week. Despite breezy conditions they put together a real nice catch of tog. Alex Levantowsky and an all star crew had a near boat limit of tog. Lenny Zalewski took home big fish honors with his 10 lb tog. Alex had a 9.8 lb tog, Ray Mazanec had a 9.4lb tog, Billy Guzman had a 8.75 lb tog and they also had seven other fish over 7lbs.

After a couple of weather days, Ray Raile and family joined us for a day of striper fishing. They had six nice stripers including two over 20 lbs along with 3 under sized stripers. In case we forget to mention, this was the nicest black Friday weekend we have had in years and the number of boats striper fishing was incredible. The line up at the launch ramp Saturday was all the way out the inlet. Saturday we stayed in water deeper than 45 feet all day and it worked out just fine. The guys from Pro Touch Painting had a nice catch of some big bass. The largest bass was caught by Ralph Allen and weighed 33.4 lbs. Dana Hansen and friends joined us for some fishing. We tried a little striper fishing to start and that was slow. We headed for some tog fishing at what should have been the best point of the tide all day but the water looked like chocolate milk so we called it a day. Alex Levantowsky and the all star crew were back at it and had a pick of small fish going and we gambled looking for the golden goose. Well, we did catch a few nice fish just not a lot of them.
