Grizzly Fishing Report 04-18-2013

Weather is finally letting us know Spring is here and the fish are following suit. Tog fishing remains great. Stripers are finally being caught and the first couple black drum have been caught as well. We look for the tog fishing to remain good until the season closes May 12. Stripers are now an option and the black drum fishing will heat up in May. If you ever wanted to tussle with a big fish close to home drum fish are it. On May 19th seabass will reopen. Delaware settled on a 17 inch flounder with creel limit of 4 fish. We will begin targeting flounder the end of May.

Ray Fisher and family joined us for a day of tog fishing. We had a hard time catching enough keepers to make a limit but they caught plenty. Dick Yohe and family had harvested a limit of tog including a couple citations. Big fish of the day award went to Adam Yohe with a 8.75 lb Tog. John Gatone and friends had another limit catch of tog. Big fish of the day award went to Ralph Griffin with a 8.5 lb tog.

Give us a call or send us an email if you would like to get out. Remember to take the kids fishing!
