Grizzly Fishing Report 07-31-2013

Half day fishing in the bay is as good as it gets with the croakers along with some flounder, sea trout, kingfish, blowfish, and the snapper bluefish are starting to show up. As one captain said, if you can't catch a bunch of croakers you had better give up fishing! The inshore shark trips have also provided excellent action with some really big ones! Check our Facebook page for a sneak peak at them on July 29. Flounder fishing in the ocean has been good on eight hour trips. We have taken a couple 10 hour wreck fishing trips with excellent results. The two pictures of the week show the results. Tuna fishing is still an option in 30 fathoms on day trips. Overnight fishing should provide good results in September.

Thanks to everyone who has joined us since the last report. It has been a pleasure fishing with you all. We hope to see you all again. Bobby Coffman and friends had an excellent 10 hour wreck trip harvesting 38 seabass and 54 ling along with two nice dolphin. Bob Irwin and friends also got in on the 10 hour wreck fishing, harvesting 104 seabass and 52 ling along with a 9.4lb cod. Chuck Neer and friends had the best inshore shark trip to date.

Give us a call if you would like to get out. Remember to take the kids fishing!
