Grizzly Fishing Report 10-10-2013

After one of the nicest starts to October mother nature has changed things this week. Usually a good northeast blow like we are experiencing this week helps the fishing. Trigger fishing was good prior to the blow and the tog have begun to bite. Tog fishing should be good when we can get back fishing and should remain strong thru December. Striper fishing will begin by end of October and we will fish for them thru end of December as well. We have some weekend dates left in December along with a fair amount of weekdays the rest of the season. Anyone who can go during the week and doesn't have a group can give us a call as we will be doing some make up trips.

Bob Coffman and friends had an excellent trip the day before tog season began. They harvested 32 triggerfish a couple sea bass and had to throw back a bunch of tog. After loosing the opening weekend of tog season to the weather we finally got out again. Chuck Russell and friends had the nicest weather day one could ask for in October but the tog were not real cooperative. The group did harvest a nice catch of triggerfish, sea bass, snapper bluefish and croakers. John Mattson and friends joined us on another beautiful October day. We did get the tog to bite today harvesting 15 nice tog, 9 triggerfish, 1 black drum, 2 nice sea trout, 2 sea bass, 2 blowfish, and some croakers.

Give us a call if you want to get in on some of this great fall and winter action. Remember if you cant fill a charter give us a call we and will get you fishing. We have an enclosed cabin for the cool days ahead. Remember to take the kids fishing!
