Grizzly Fishing Report 6-09-2015



We have finished black drum fishing till next spring. Check out our face book page to see what you missed out on. If you are not on face book just click on the link on our home page to get there. Flounder have shown up as expected with some big ones already. Croakers have also shown up in big numbers a swell. We have also released the first of our brown sharks as well.

We had a group from the air national guard in Texas join us for a drum trip the last night of their training in Dover. The guys will be deployed again next month. Thanks for your service! They got to take home with them the memory of releasing 15 nice drum up to 49". Steve Henry and family had a nice drum trip catching 5 nice drum releasing 3 of them. The next night they were back for another 5 drum afternoon again releasing 3 of them.

Bob Irwin and co workers had a nice 8 hour seabass trip harvesting 35 seabass, 2 cod, and releasing several nice tog. John Joswick and freinds had a great drum trip capturing 16 drum to 49" releasing all but 6. Terry Swope and freinds joined for an afternoon drum trip and had 6 nice drum. Tony Greenfield and freinds had a nice 8 hour ocean trip harvesting 7 nice flounder to 6.25 lbs along with 21 seabass.

We had several nice half day trip as well that produced lots of croakers, big sand sharks, a few brown sharks, and some real nice flounder to 6.5 lbs. We had 3 fish over 6 lbs on these trips already which is a great sign for the summer.
