Popular species such as stripers and tautog are plentiful fall, winter, and spring. Boston Mackeral are caught in the early spring months of March and April. Big stripers move through in May and April and provide nice action. Our largest spring striper is 44 pounds. It's the time of year to catch one for the wall. Drum also move into the area in May and are fished for at night. Throughout the summer months we have plenty to fish for: seatrout, croakers, flounder, and snapper blues. Lots of species are mixed in throughout the year. The offshore waters heat up in July and provide plenty of tuna, dolphin, and marlin action until early October.
