The Grizzly is back in the water with her newly rebuilt engine and is off to a good start. With the lack of any real winter temperatures the water temperatures are much higher than the past several seasons. Tog, stripers and black drum have already been caught in the Delaware Bay. There has been a large body of stripers wintering off Ocean City, Maryland and with any luck that bait that they are holding on will push up to the mouth of the Delaware Bay soon. We will be tog and striper fishing thru mid May. We should also catch our first drum in April and fish for the big black drum through the first of June. Anyone wanting to tangle with something real big, close to home should give black drum fishing a try.

We started things off with Hark Kim and family. They caught a few tog on their half day trip before returning early as a few folks got sick. Don Yocum and friends joined us for the weekend. We started things off looking for some stripers but couldn't connect so we switched over to tog fishing. Despite the rain and fog the guys put a nice catch together. Sunday we had a little less fog and no rain. The guys put in a lot of soak time and harvested a near limit including three fish over the 7 lb mark. Thanks again for the nice crock pot meals each day they really hit the spot in the fog and rain.

Give us a call if you would like to get out this year we would be glad to have you. Remember to take the kids fishing!
