Summer is finally upon us and the water temperatures should surely shoot right up with weather like this. The first of the croakers have started to arrive and we're hopeful many more will follow. Our tuna should be right around the corner. We were pleased at the announcement of the Bluefin regulation which allow us a fish per angler bag limit. Yellowfin still remain three per angler.
Wayne Jester and a group of paramedics had a tough evening of seabass fishing but it was still a nice get away for the group. The following morning the fish were back to their cooperative selves. Andy Duncan and group from Strut Services had an enjoyable day of seabass fishing. Glen Bankowski caught a 3 1/2 lb Pollock in the mix which reminded us of just how cold bottom temperatures still are. The group also did a bit of wreck fishing with some nice tog to top things off.
Tim Brinkley and friends had an enjoyable evening of seabass fishing on the open bottom. The group pulled the fish non stop for nearly two hours before things shut off. Fred Robinson and friends were at it again wreck fishing and almost everyone on board had a limit catch of tasty Seabass. Last evening we had a bachelor party for Chris Barker. No dancing girls, just some relaxing tog fishing and once the group had all they wanted for their fish fry it was time to kick back for a game of cards. Those who were out of the card game continued fishing, releasing the tog for another day.
