Things are starting to heat up with tuna beginning to arrive offshore, and croakers beginning to show up in the bay. Hopefully it won't be too long before flounder fishing picks up as well. We have seen our first signs of the prized flounder on every ocean trip this week and should be a sign of things to come.

Joe Torrie and friends joined us for a day in the bay. The group threw jigs for an hour through slack high tide without a bite on a usually productive piece of structure in the lower bay. We then changed plans and finished the day off with a nice catch of tog and six nice trigger fish on a nearshore wreck. The following day we were back to the ocean drifting the open bottom with a group from E.T. Painting. The group had a nice day on the seabass with a keeper flounder thrown in the mix.

Paul Brown and friends from Reading, Pa had an enjoyable day of wreck fishing for seabass. The group got a real good look at a large ocean sunfish which swam by to say hello. That same evening we had another bachelor party, this time for Rob Locke. Once again no dancing girls just some good clean seabass fishing. After catching enough seabass to satisfy all on board it was back to the dock in time to head off for a crab feast.

The following day we were joined by three generations of the Starke family for a day of seabass fishing. The open bottom was again productive with plenty of fish to satisfy everyone.
