More croakers and small trout are showing up every day in the lower Delaware Bay hopefully with many more to follow. Seabass remain the mainstay for bottom fisherman with more flounder every day. We will begin tuna fishing this week. We've had a cancellation of an overnight tuna fishing trip on the first weekend of August 2,3. So anyone looking to go on an overnight trip on a Saturday night here's your chance.
Alan Coryell, family and coworkers enjoyed a nice day of open bottom bouncing and were rewarded with a nice catch of seabass throwing back a few flounder as well. Jerry Springer and family also got in on the seabass action. Jerry's daughter Nikki started things off with a 4lb 2oz seabass and the group went on to catch many more with some flounder mixed in.
Kathleen Pollock and family joined us for a half day fishing trip to celebrate her husbands 60th birthday. We kept the group in calm waters as their daughter was six months pregnant. Congratulations! The grouped rounded up several trout however most were short of the legal limit.
