Grizzly Fishing Report 08-21-2013

We have had a very busy month here aboard the Grizzly. Thanks to all that have joined us. Half day fishing has been a lot of fun with lots of family and friends enjoying some great quality time on the water. They have been catching a nice mixture of fish including bluefish, croakers, flounder, seatrout, triggerfish, and of course sharks. The toothy ones have been a great hit with groups on all trips. Full day fishing has seen primarily flounder along with some croakers in the bay or seabass in the ocean.

We will continue to see lots of mixed bag catches on the half day trips thru September. Full day bottom fishing in September will offer some of the best opportunities of a nice mix bag of croakers, seabass, seatrout, and bluefish. September will offer some great wreck fishing mixed bags as well, for seabass, flounder, and lingcod. These wreck trips are the freezer bag trips. The overnight tuna fishing has been good and we will no doubt have some great overnight fishing in September. On September 29 the fall tautog fishing reopens and we will fish them thru the new year. Stripers will start in late October and will continue thru the new year as well.

Give us a call if you would like to get out. Fall offers some of the best fishing we have to offer. We will keep you warm on those cold days in our heated cabin. Remember to take the kids fishing!
