Grizzly Fishing Report 09-11-2013

Fishing has been very good since the last report both inshore and off shore. We have seen some excellent flounder fishing in September. It looks like we will see flounder for a couple more weeks. Croaker fishing is still good. We will see some really nice mixed bag catches of seabass, flounder, croakers, ling, seatrout, and snapper bluefish on both our 8 and 10 hour trips . Off shore has provided some excellent overnight chunking. Tog will reopen September 29 and we will fish for them thru the new year. We will add striped bass to the menu by end of October and fish for them thru the new year as well.

We have been very busy again last two weeks so thanks again to all that have joined us. Hope to fish with you all again. Daniel Ramsdale and family had a great trip releasing several large sharks. Chris Prosser and friends had our best half day trip capturing two nice black drum along with croakers and a seabass. Kelly Butler and friends had a nice mixed bag catch in the bay with plenty of nice croakers, seatrout, kingfish, flounder, and a handful of shark releases. Travis Herr put together a bachelor trip for some big sharks. After we released a bunch of big sharks the guys went on to harvest a couple flounder and a nice bunch of croakers. Mo Wilson and family had a excellent flounder trip harvesting 16 flounder to 6 lbs along with some nice seabass. Carl Nelson and family had a great overnight tuna trip. We harvested a boat limit of 27 yellowfin tuna along with a mako and a dolphin. The guys also released a couple blue sharks. Saturday we had 11 keeper flounder and four nice seabass. Sunday Josh Hibner family and friends had a great flounder trip. They harvested 22 flounder including 4 over 5 lbs along with five keeper seabass.

Give us a call if you would like to get out. Fall is a great time as we have an enclosed cabin to keep you warm on the cool mornings to come. Remember to take the kids fishing!
