Grizzly Fishing Report 6-19-2014

We finished off our drum fishing season with a couple great trips including our biggest fish of the season at 80 lbs for Terry Swope. We have begun to see nice mixed bag catches in the Bay on our half day trips. These mixed bags include flounder, croakers, seatrout, seabass, snapper bluefish, sand sharks and some toothy sharks for those wanting to tussle with one. The inshore shark fishing is a real hit for anyone wanting to catch something big close to home.

The bottom fishing on the old grounds in the ocean is starting to take shape and we should have some real nice flounder fishing this summer. The flounder fishing in the bay should pick up with these warm temperatures as well.

Tuna fishing has been good already as well. Nice yellowfins are being caught already and we can actually harvest three bluefin per day this summer. This will allow us to have some good catches on our 14 hour trips. Remember September provided some great overnight action last year.

Give us a call to get out this summer, we have something to offer everyone. Remember to take the kids fishing!
