Grizzly Fishing Report 09-01-2025

August started out with some days lost due to weather and some days that we had to fish close to home as ocean was to rough. We had some nice mixed bag trip close to home harvesting limits seatrout, flounder, croakers and triggerfish. Then only got out 2 more times before the flounder tournament. Both of these trips saw nice catches of flounder and some seabass.

Had a blast with our flounder pounder crew again this year! Guys took home 6th place overall in the tournament.

We lost 9 days the last 2 weeks of the month brutal weather for end August! Another 2 trips we cut short because of weather and lack of fish. Bring them in early and treat them right. We did have 3 really nice days close to home with the sheepshead, triggerfish, flounder, trout and nice croakers. When things did get right we had a limit catch of seabass and a couple flounder to finish up the month.
