Well hopefully we have made it thru the annual inshore bottom fish transition. Some of the fishing the last two weeks has been less than up to par. This weeks warm up should be just what the fish are looking for to get things back to normal summer bottom fishing. There have been some good catches of tuna in the canyons already, which should be a sign of good things to come.

We would like to thank everyone who has joined us the past two weeks. We have seen some nice seabass on a few occassions and some good action of undersized seabass. Flounder fishing in 2008 is just enough to leave a sour taste in ones mouth with the 19 1/2" minimum. Hard to keep throwing back 2 pound flounder.

We had the Neer family out yesterday and finally had a good sign of fish. We harvested several seabass including several over two pounds and two nice flounder. Along with the harvest were ten throw back flounder of which three would have been kept under last years rules and twenty undersized seabass.
