The bay continues to produce some croakers and flounder. The ocean fishing is still very good, producing seabass and flounder. The offshore scene is tuna, tuna, tuna with lots of other life to keep it interesting.

The Pipenburg family enjoyed a half day trip in the bay this week. The group caught a mixed bag of bottom fish including porgies, trout, sharks, and croakers.

Doug Witmer and friends: Matt, Paul, Mike, James, and Frank, had a banner offshore trip. The weather was nice and the fishing was great. The group brought home three large bluefins, nine yellowfins, and a dolphin. The big fish awards went to Matt with a 101 pound bluefin, Doug with a 95 pounder, and Mike with a hefty 80 pounder.

Rob Amerson and friends had a nice day in the ocean bottom fishing and came home with a decent catch of seabass and several nice flounder.

Chester Stoltzfus and friends had a nice overnight trip bringing home several nice yellowfin tuna. The group also enjoyed the other life including baby sailfish and a fin whale.

Gary Spicer and group had a nice day on the water catching a few croakers.

Bob Kiperling and friends had a nice trip offshore but the tuna were not so cooperative this night. Ron saved the night by bringing in a nice swordfish. Nice catch!

Check out our new archive page. It's brand new and still in the construction stage so keep checking in to see past reports.
