What a week! Stripers continue to bite, Tog are plentiful, and seabass fishing couldn't be better.
Mike Barnes along with friends had a great trip. The group started out by catching seven stripers over 28 inches. Dave (Shorty) Thompson landed a beautiful 5lb 4oz flounder. The guys then finished off the day by putting a limit catch of tog in the box. The trip brought Mike his first citation tautog, a hefty ten pounder. Great Job!
Byron Savage, Matt Savage, Pete Deklerow, Steve Smith, and Rex Barrett had an outstanding trip bringing home six large stripers and a limit catch of tog. Byron had a nice 7lb 8oz tog.
Gary Dolbow along with friends and co-workers from Quebecore also had an outstanding trip. The group bagged their limit of seabass in two hours. The group had several fish over two pounds with William Sweigart bringing home a nice 3lb 3oz seabass.
Ray Fulmer and friends enjoyed a great trip bagging their limit of tautog and also bringing home four stripers to boot. Barry Alexander had two nice stripers while Ray took home a nice 6lb 12oz tog. Capt. Cary also managed to bag a hefty 20lb 4oz striper.
Capt. Jerry made the weekend a home run. Not only was it great to have him back in action but he led both groups to limit catches of seabass. Rich Mitchell and friends enjoyed a great trip. The group brought home a limit catch of seabass with Bill Pirkle catching a 4lb 4oz fish, Rick Rakowski bagging a 3lb 3oz fish, and Butch Seekford bringing in a 3lb 1oz fish. Bob Persch and friends also bagged their limit with many fish over two pounds and with John Lease bagging two over three pounds.
