The calendar says its almost winter even though it doesn't feel like it some days. We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The boat is still in and we still have plenty of bait so we do plan on fishing a few more trips after Christmas and the first few days of January. Give us a call if you would like to get out.

We have managed to get in a number of both striper and tog trips since the last report. With the exception of one trip we have certainly saw our share of both tog and stripers. We did more bunker chunking this fall than we have ever done as it was the way to produce good numbers of striped bass. The rips did get our attention on a few trips with some good results as well. Tog fishing close to home has been all but non existent. For those willing to take a ride we have seen some fair to excellent days on the tog.

Once again Thanks to everyone that has joined us and we look forward to fishing with you all again in 2013. Here are some of the highlight from the last couple trips. Tom Smiga and family had an excellent day bunker chunking returning back at the dock with five big stripers to 28.75lbs along with double digit striper releases. Steve Kleva and freinds had seven keeper bass and double digit striper releases as well. Chol Chang and friends had a good catch of real pretty tog including two over seven pounds.

Gary Gutowski and friends had our only true mixed bag trip of the fall we harvested two of six stripers and five of twenty tog. Vince Falcone and friends joined us for our first traditional rip fishing trip and finished up strong harvesting two of a dozen bites in our last hour of the day. John Mattson and friends were one short of a tog limit including five tog over eight pounds. John took home big fish honors with a eleven and a quarter pound tog. Mo Wilson, family and friends had a excellent tog trip. They finished the day up with five tog over ten pounds including Mo's twelve and a quarter pound tog. Along with four others over eight pounds.

Remember to take the kids fishing in 2013 we would be glad to have them.
